Pop Art/Street Art 11 Week Course-Wednesdays!

Creative Kids Studio is pleased to release course details of the upcoming 11-week Pop Art/Street Art Course! It runs from Wednesday 24th April to Wednesday 10th July. 

The Summer term has become when traditionally we try out some spray painting outside on boards and decorate caps/bags with graffiti style writing with special pens. These have emerged as favourite activities over the years, and the children really enjoy them!
 We will also be painting on canvas, adorning (fake!) dollar bills with cartoons, printing and drawing.  

During these weeks, we will be inspired by Andy Warhol, Burton Morris, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Roy Lichtenstein, amongst others.
The club is owned and run by Textile designer and mum Laura Howard, MA, full DBS and Safeguarding certificate. Running for 8 years, Creative Kids Studio seeks to bring a variety of techniques and materials for children to discover and enjoy, and increase the confidence of children through creativity, in a fun and safe environment. Our classes are energetic, and somewhere for children to learn what they enjoy to create, and not be afraid to make mistakes!
 
Children are brought straight to the club for their classroom. They are welcome to bring a snack, no nuts please. Pick up is at 4.20pm from the infant dining hall. All work is taken home after the last lesson.
